As of my knowledge cutoff in 2023, the newest technology in LED display is mini-LED.
Mini-LED technology uses smaller LED chips (typically less than 100 microns in size) and a greater number of them to create a more densely packed array of LEDs. This allows for higher resolution displays with better contrast, brightness, and color accuracy than traditional LED displays.
Mini-LED displays also use local dimming zones, where groups of LEDs can be dimmed or brightened independently of one another, leading to better black levels and improved HDR performance. Mini-LED technology is being used in high-end televisions and monitors, as well as in commercial displays and digital signage.
However, it’s important to note that technology is constantly evolving, and there may be newer advancements in LED display technology since my knowledge cutoff in 2023.
